How CoreAlert Works

CoreAlert continuously monitors incoming radio audio and listens for paging activity or alert tones. When a valid sequence is detected, it triggers station alerting, plays custom alert tones, and rebroadcasts voice traffic over station speakers — all running locally for dependable, real-time operation.

1) Listen

Monitors your dispatch channel audio for paging tones.

2) Trigger

Plays your chosen station alert tone and switches to the audio workflow.

3) Broadcast

Frequently Asked Questions

How does CoreAlert know when we are dispatched?

CoreAlert monitors your dispatch channel and detects your department’s paging tones. When a valid sequence is detected, it triggers station alerting and rebroadcasts the dispatcher’s audio.

Does CoreAlert require CAD integration?

No. CoreAlert is tone-based and works directly from radio audio. CAD integration is not required.

Can we use our own alert tones?

Yes. Any WAV audio file can be used to match existing tones or create unique alerts.
